Hidden Pictures Color Comp

Here is the initial color comp for my hidden picture.  Right now I have a rake, a comb, and an acorn hidden so far.  There will be many more items snuck in before Wednesday!

I plan on adding quite a bit more to this piece.  Stay tuned for the final :)

Hello!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted!  Here is little sneak peak at a project I'm currently working on.  It's going to be a four panel series (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) of a girl playing on tree.  It going to be a hidden picture so there will be different items hidden throughout the illustration.  Here is a detail tree where a couple of owls are hanging out.

ABC'S NEW COLOR COMPS

Here are new color comps for the ABC Book.  I have adjusted the drawing on a couple of animals as few of them were suffering from anatomy problems.  I decided to swap out the old type for clean san serif font.  I also changed the background to take out the texture.  Now it's just a flat colored background, but I'm still not happy with it.  I think that I will add a little decorative patterning back in and see what happens.  I also want to add a small  drop shadow underneath each animal in the finals.  But until then enjoy the new and improved color comps for the ABC's

HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE UPDATE!

Here is an another update for the Mother Goose Jam Project.

When I turned this project in last week I noticed some major mistakes that need adjusting.  The Hey Diddle Diddle label is pretty close to being finalized.  Maybe just a bit of tweaking here and there, but I'm happy with it overall.  Hickory Dickory Dock needs more drastic changes, so I'll be reworking that piece soon.
